About UsThe UNQUENCHABLES Rugby Team is a Masters Grade Rugby side, founded in 1959. We play our home games at Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club in Melbourne Australia. We moved here (Sparks Reserve) in 1969.
We are made up of players 35 years old and over and play in structured competition of teams based in and around Melbourne. We currently have players ranging in age from 35 to 66 years old including 4 current players who are over 50 and 3 are over 60!. Games are played every Saturday afternoon over an 18 week period that coincides with the Victorian Rugby Union Football season and are played on a home and away basis (with centralised fixtures involving all teams). |
When We Train |
We get together every Thursday night throughout the year for an optional training session in a floodlit area at the Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club. We realize that work commitments can prevent players from appearing every week, however we have a core of players who make these sessions worthwhile.
